Art for the geeks. Not in a geeky way. Hmm, Art. Pollock and Web Design meet with Joshua Davis and come out with a web page, that feels like a painting, like Tool’s, and the fictious character, Maruto.
Motorola KRZR’s page is an outcome of his as well, it lets you “create” Kaleidoscopes! I liked this from what I could mess around with from this “create” thing.

There is more impressive graphic art that actually entertains the eye.this reminds me of cells:D and something else which I’ll keep to myself:D
At the end they could do a bit better in trying to refer to Kandinskys abstract expressionisn for instance, at least he has some theoretical background of Cubism and bauhaus. Gives his art more legitimacy I guess!
Haitham said on Feb 03 07 at 6:28 pmChoochie what’s wrong with ‘abstract expressionism graphic art’? he is a an expressionist in a way! He forms figures out of inspirations from shapes and characters and molds them in his composition.
I felt Kandinsky’s touch in the first picture, but what I liked more is his geometric patterns.
AnAnymous said on Feb 03 07 at 9:42 pmDoes it need talent to do that?
Thats what I asked myself the moment I saw it, and I dont feel it does,I might be wrong or maybe theres a concept to it that I fail to see
Haitham said on Feb 04 07 at 12:30 amTrue, there might be something hidden within its ‘graphic’ layer, but still I feel that his work is indeed impressive, at least as a web designer!
