Turkish Coffee & Ice Cream

Turkish Coffee & Ice Cream

Turkish Coffee is rather an Art than it is a beverage; there is a ritual for extracting the essence of it, some just don't give it much attention to detail when it comes to the amount of time put into it, let alone the desire.Anyway, this Turkish Coffee and Ice Cream "recipe" is a combination of VERY HOT and VERY COLD components, very contrasty, the ice cream makes the coffee more modern touch and the coffee gives it an original feel, the aroma alone is spiritual.Chocolate Ice Cream I prefer in my case, I feel chocolate compliments the bitterness of the coffee but helps it uplift the mood, vanilla or any other fruity ice cream can overpower or ruin the coffee taste, so chocolate is preferable. The Coffee is the gist, heavy aromatic and well sweetened coffee is what you're looking for, and I'm exploring this thing in turkish coffee; rule of thumb is: to know the correct coffee-to-water ratio, boil the water and when it hits boiling temperature, take it of the stove and start adding the coffee full spoon after the other until the surface of the water is fully covered by a mountain of coffee, Fuji-proportions, over saturation will occur, but the ratio will mostly come out delicious.
